Indian Rocks Beach stretches along the Gulf side of the northern barrier islands, a relatively low-density community compared to Clearwater Beach to the north. Mixed housing stock
Indian Rocks Beach has seen multiple generations of construction. Original beach cottages from the 1950s and 1960s sit next to newer homes built to current codes after storm damage or teardowns. The older homes have been altered (enclosed porches, room additions, converted garages) and the duct systems were rarely resized to match.

How fast can you get to Indian Rocks Beach?
Indian Rocks Beach is about four miles from our Belleair shop; our closest beach community. We've had technicians at IRB addresses within 20 minutes for emergencies. For scheduled service, we're typically there the same day or next day.
Why does my outdoor unit look worse than my neighbour's unit a few blocks inland?
Salt air. Indian Rocks Beach gets direct Gulf exposure, and the airborne salt corrodes the aluminium fins on condenser coils faster than the same unit would corrode even a few miles east in Largo or Belleair. The corrosion is cumulative and largely invisible until it causes a refrigerant leak. Regular rinsing with fresh water slows it significantly.
My house is a mix of old construction and a newer addition. The addition never cools properly.
This is one of the most common problems we see in Indian Rocks Beach. The original duct system was sized for the original floor plan. When a sunroom was enclosed or a room was added, the cooling load changed but the ducts did not. A duct assessment tells you whether the fix is at the duct level, the system level, or both.
