Belleair

Our shop is in Belleair, at 1115 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Suite A3. Most of our vans start their day here, which in practice means Belleair calls tend to be the ones we reach fastest.

Belleair is largely older housing stock on generous lots, much of it built well before current efficiency standards and a good deal of it altered since (enclosed porches, additions, converted garages) which is exactly where duct systems stop matching the house they serve. It is also close enough to the water that salt reaches outdoor equipment. Condenser coils corrode faster here than they do six miles inland, and rinsing the outdoor unit is not a cosmetic exercise.

The town is small enough that we know the streets and the buildings. If you’re in Belleair, Belleair Bluffs or Belleair Beach, you are minutes from our shop.

Largest market

Clearwater

Clearwater is our largest market; 114,000 people directly north of Belleair, and the widest spread of housing in the county. Downtown and the older east-side neighbourhoods run to mid-century homes with ductwork that has been patched more than once. Countryside and the north end are newer subdivisions where systems are hitting the twelve-to-fifteen-year mark all at once. The Clearwater Beach side is condominiums, where the rules about what can go on a balcony or a roof are set by the association rather than the owner.

Condominium and association work. Getting a rooftop or balcony unit replaced often means coordinating with a property manager and a maintenance crew as well as the owner. We’ve done it and it’s routine for us.

Rental and seasonal properties. A system failing in an empty unit runs a long time before anyone notices.

Older ductwork. Plenty of Clearwater homes have a good air conditioner attached to duct runs delivering a fraction of the air they should. When a room won’t cool, that’s the first thing worth checking, and it’s cheaper than a new system.
